How to remove water stain from clothes. Dampen the corner of another washcloth with white distilled vinegar and rub the stained area to remove the water spot or ring. Moisten the water spotted area with the damp washcloth. Let the rhubarb cook for at least 20 minutes then remove it from the pot leaving the hot water. Using another white cloth or paper towel sponge or blot your paint solvent over the stained area until the stain disappears.
Press the stain into the paper towels. Turn the stained clothing inside out and place it on top of a white absorbent cloth or a stack of paper towels. To remove them soak the affected clothing in the washing machine in cool water mixed according to package directions with oxygenized non chlorine bleach e g oxiclean for eight hours. Ensure that the garment can be bleached to remove the sweat stains try soaking the clothing in a solution of equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda in water for a couple of hours before washing as usual.
Let the stained area dry. Rub the stain beginning at the outer edges and working your way toward the center. Place the rhubarb stalks in the pot and bring the water to a boil. Wet a cloth and lay it over the inside of the clothing directly over the water stain.
Continue to blot and rub the clothing until the stain disappears. Empty your clothes iron of all the water inside then bring it into the room with the affected piece of furniture. Rinse out the first cloth again under running water. Place the stained clothing into the rhubarb water and allow it to soak.
